Rain and Flood Alert During Eid ul Azha Holidays Ministry of Aviation Pakistan Meteorological Department issued a press release about rain and flood during Eid-ul-Azha.
According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon winds are entering most parts of the country. Their intensity is likely to decrease during the next 24 hours. Monsoon winds will intensify during the weekend. Under the Influence of this Weather System More Rains, Wind, and Thundershowers are expected from 9th July to 12th July 2022.
Heavy falls may generate urban flooding in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, and Sialkot on 9th and 10th July 2022.
Flash Flooding is also expacted in local Nullahs of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Bolan, Kalat, Khuzdar, and Lasbella From 9th to 12th July 2022.
